Colorado Fraternal ORder of Police Lodge 8 Foundation

In 2018 Durango Lodge 8 realized that we needed to do more for our local community and for our local police officers.  We formed a new charitable foundation we named the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8 Foundation.

The goals of the Foundation are to raise money for our annual Shop with a Cop event, provide financial assistance to officers and families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty, buy lifesaving equipment for law enforcement officers in Southwest Colorado, and to build a local memorial to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in Southwest Colorado.

The foundation relies entirely on charitable donations.  No membership dues go to the Foundation.  In 2018 we were able to raise over $25,000 for Shop with a Cop all from donors.
